Cavena Nuda Recipes
Hearty Bean Soup

- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 - 15 ounce can of whole kernel corn, divided
- 1 - 15 ounce can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 - 15 ounce can tomato sauce
- 1 - 14 ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1/2 cup Cavena Nuda
- 1 - 4 ounce can chopped green chillies (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chilli powder
- 3/4 teaspoon cumin
- 3 cups cubed cooked chicken
Saute onion and celery in oil until tender in a large heavy pot. Add the rest of the ingredients except chicken and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 40 minutes. Stir in chicken and cook until Cavena Nuda is tender. Makes 12 servings.
